As a physician and registered nurse team, we witnessed firsthand how traditional medicine often stops at symptom management and normal lab ranges, overlooking deeper dysfunction. We knew there had to be a better way.

Dr. Mark Hechler, DO, FAOCO
Functional Medicine Physician | Health Optimization Expert
Dr. Mark Hechler brings over 30 years of expertise to his work in health optimization. He began his medical career specializing in Otorhinolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery, opening his practice in 1996 after completing residency. As his passion for helping patients achieve their full potential grew, he pursued advanced education in integrative and functional medicine at the Academy of Preventive and Innovative Medicine by WorldLink Medical and The Institute for Functional Medicine.
With a deep interest in optimizing human health, Dr. Hechler not only applies these principles in his practice but also in his own life. As an avid runner, he has completed marathons on all seven continents and is now pursuing his goal of running in all 50 U.S. states. He uses his experience and knowledge to inspire and guide other athletes to achieve their personal best, combining evidence-based strategies with a passion for helping others push their limits.
Dr. Hechler's adventurous spirit extends beyond running. A licensed private pilot, he is working toward earning his instrument rating, which allows him to explore the skies with the same dedication and focus he applies to his medical and athletic pursuits. His love for exploration also led him to convert an ambulance into an off-grid camper, enabling him to travel across the country with his wife, Tandi, and their dogs.

Certified Nurse Coach | Holistic Health Guide
Tandi Hechler is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and board certification as a Nurse Coach from AHNCC. With a focus on integrative and holistic care, Tandi combines her professional expertise with certifications in IF-45 Intermittent Fasting (created by Cynthia Thurlow), 200-hour yoga teacher training, and Reiki Level I and II. Her approach addresses the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of wellness, helping patients create balanced, healthier lives.
Tandi's commitment to personalized care is deeply rooted in her own health journey. As someone who has experienced the life-changing benefits of Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), she understands firsthand how addressing hormonal imbalances can transform energy, confidence, and overall well-being. Her personal experience fuels her to be a compassionate guide and advocate for patients interested in BHRT.
Outside of her professional work, Tandi leads an active lifestyle rooted in her love for nature and movement. She enjoys walking half marathons, trail running, hiking, and camping—often with family and friends. Tandi also explores alternative healing practices like meditation, yoga, reiki, cacao medicine, energy work, breathwork, and other tools to help patients tap into their natural intuition.
